Currituck team gets valuable training and advice on small business support at the NC Rural Center’s” Energizing Entrepreneurship Express” workshop
The workshop, titled “The Energizing Entrepreneurship Express,” was administered by the North Carolina Rural Center staff and hosted at the Cashie Convention Center in Windsor, NC. Sessions included: reviewing research and best practices; a panel discussion with business owners and students; and active planning for an entrepreneurship event in attendants’ home towns.
The Currituck County team was represented by Economic Development Advisory Board members Tameron Kugler and Kevin Burwell; Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Mike Florez; and Currituck County Economic Development Director Peter Bishop.
The team is actively assembling an informal group of local business owners, students, volunteers and resources for the development of an Entrepreneurs Network.
