Celebrate MFG Day with 7 of the Coolest Things Made in North Carolina

It happens on the first Friday in October every year, but Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) always manages to sneak up on people.
That's probably because MFG Day doesn't get the same marketing push as other holidays. Car dealers and furniture stores save all their sales promotions for Labor Day. Big box retailers go straight from stocking Back-to-School supplies to decking the halls for Halloween.
MFG Day doesn't stand a chance.
Maybe it's just hard for people to find an appropriate way to celebrate.
You could attend a a local event to learn more about opportunities in local manufacturing. Or head down to your neighborhood manufacturer with some free donuts or lunch to show your appreciation for all their hard work in
But here's another idea...
The organizers of MFG Day created the day to "celebrate the manufacturers who make the products that keep us safe, enrich our lives, strengthen our economic and national security, and provide countless opportunities for our communities and workforce."
So why not support the work they do and try some of their products?
Here's a quick list of 7 cool things made right here in North Carolina that you can wear, play, drink, hang or display proudly in your home.

1. Black Cherry Moonshine from Copper Barrel Distillery

2. BlackOut Tweed Select Modified 5E3 Amp from Mojotone
