Currituck County worked with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to perform a market feasibility study that assessed the possibility of a new development on nearly 3,000 acres in Moyock. The goal of the study was to get a better understanding of the potential economic development opportunities that could allow the county and owners to capitalize on the increased market demand for light industrial, office, multi-family residential, single family residential, and retail developments.
The study was the first step to determining the best approach for developing the Moyock Mega-Site over the next 30 years.
