T.J. English and his wife, Jessica, are the owners of Carova Service & Construction LLC. Opened in January of this year, this family-owned business offers general contracting services, water well and septic systems installation and repair and pool/spa cleaning. They serve the Currituck Outer Banks 4x4.
I was formerly half owner of Southern Home Improvements with my brother-in-law. We purchased the company from my father-in-law, Charlie Pool, in 2015. I worked for my father-in-law since 2000 learning the business.
I decided to split into my own company to allow both of us to grow in the directions we wanted for our lives. This allowed my to focus on more maintenance and service repairs and get more time with my family.
I grew up in Currituck. My mother’s family has been in Currituck for generations. Both my wife and I were in the Currituck County High School Class of 2001.
I like being able to quickly solve problems that a customer may have already tried to fix themselves.

Meeting many different people and becoming friends with our customers.
We strive to arrive and resolve maintenance calls in order to keep guests happy. Many times we are there to address the problem within 30 minutes.
