Chelsea Castellow is the owner of Three Little Birds Dance Studio. Three Little Birds offers dance classes for ALL ages and specializes in ballet, tap, and jazz dance, but also offers classes in lyrical, Polynesian, hip-hop, ZUMBA, and YOGA.
I wasn’t very happy with the job I had and my husband convinced me to get out of my comfort zone and take a chance. What a blessing it has been.
Currituck is a blooming area and I have been a resident for 8 years. This is a wonderful community and we try to invest our business in the community supporting things such as: local churches, Moyock and Crawford Volunteer Fire Departments, Currituck Ducks Unlimited, Currituck 4H, Boy Scout Pack 127, Moyock Elementary School, Currituck Fraternal Order of Police and Currituck FFA.
Sometimes dealing with one or two difficult customers. But that is easily forgotten when we continue to receive love and support from the community and our wonderful customers who have helped build our business to what it is today.
The biggest rewards come at the end of the year when the students are able to showcase what they’ve learned in our annual recital. The sense of pride and accomplishment they exhibit is wonderful to experience.
We strive to maintain that small business/small family atmosphere. We listen to what our customers are looking for and what we can do for them. We try to look out for our military and first responder families as they give so much to us. Three Little Birds is one of the only studios that also offers year-round registration to cater to the constant influx of new residents to our area, as well as the large number of military families that may relocate to our area throughout the year.
