How long have you been in business in Currituck County?

We’ve been in business since 2016.

Can you describe your business.

We’re a family owned and operated cleaning company. We specialize in all residential, commercial, vacation rentals and VRBO properties.

Why did you decide to start your own business?

I realized that I could work to realize my own dreams of being an entrepreneur instead of working to make someone else’s dreams a reality. Owning my own business would also give me more time to devote to my family and kids.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned as a small business owner?

I love the instant gratification and seeing smiles on our clients’ faces when they come home or visit their vacation home after a busy season to a clean and sanitized space. We love helping people and also love giving back to our community through various programs.

Why did you choose Currituck County?

I’ve been a resident of Currituck County and the potential for growth is amazing and I love being a part of making this county into a better place to live and work.

Are you from Currituck or did you relocate here?

I’m originally from New Jersey. Moved to Kill Devil Hills in 1998. Graduated from Manteo High School and now raising my children in this area.

What are your biggest challenges as a business owner?

Keeping and hiring good help. There is plenty of work, but the demand for employees is also very high so finding someone who is a perfect fit can be a little tedious.

What are the biggest rewards?

Knowing that our clients are happy and that we do right by our employees by offering insurance and benefits. That sets us apart from other cleaning companies.
