Jennifer Dixon is the owner of the Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC in Powell’s Point, NC. She opened January 1, 2020 and helps clients find the right coverage at competitive prices.
I use cutting edge technology to shop with dozens of “A” rated insurance companies. In just a few minutes, I’m able to find the right coverage at a competitive price. I take the time to review all of the options and customize a policy based on the unique risks and desires of each client. After finalizing an option, I’m backed by a service team that has the highest client loyalty rating in the industry.
I didn’t choose the “Tuk,” it chose me.
I am native to the Outer Banks and have been blessed to have NEVER lived anywhere but Dare and Currituck counties.
Our coastal community can be very delicate to insure. I saw a need for more options when it came to insurance. When it came to insuring their most valuable assets, I saw a need for our community to have the power of choice... explained to them in terms that they could understand. I found a company able to provide a robust portfolio of carriers with “A” rated companies to do just that.
I see the struggles that our mainland and islands endure and I just want to be able to help where I can. I was already in the insurance business. Now, I’m just able to reach more people and provide more services. Helping makes me happy. I’m literally “happy to help.”
I considered an office in Kitty Hawk, but I’m so mobile I chose to settle down in Powells Point so that I could have easy access to both counties and beyond.
I get the freedom to move around the area and meet new and exciting people. I get to be more available to people when they need me. My boss is super easy to get along with if you feed her.
Starting from scratch. It’s hard to put your neck out there and live on faith. I promise you, I pray way more now than I used to!
GO! Get out there. Get out of your office. Get outside of your comfort zone. Call that connection. Make new friends. Go to those networking events. Just go.
The power of choice, a “down home” explanation of coverage, competitive rates, and a new fishing buddy.
